Blizzard is hard bezig met hun games. Overwatch wordt dan ook zeker niet overgeslagen, want na nieuwe content als personage Doomfist en de aankondiging van een Team Deathmatch modus komt er ook gewoon een nieuwe Escort map voor de game.
Deze map krijgt de naam Junkertown en deze Australische stad is het thuishonk van Junkrat en Roadhog. De map is speciaal ingericht voor de spelmodus Escort en het is de bedoeling een auto vol explosieven te begeleiden naar zijn plaats van bestemming. Blizzard geeft de volgende beschrijving:
Junkertown is an Escort map located in the harsh and unforgiving Australian Outback. Constructed from the remains of a destroyed omnium, it’s now the home to a band of lawless scavengers known as the Junkers, led by their cutthroat Queen. When they aren’t pillaging the omnium’s skeleton for anything of value, the Junkers blow off steam in the Scrapyard—a massive gladiatorial arena whose combatants fight for glory, riches…and to survive.
Wanneer Junkertown gaat verschijnen is nog onbekend, maar op de Gamescom in Keulen, welke deze week plaats vindt, kun je al aan de slag met de nieuwe map. Geen tijd om af te reizen naar Duitsland? Geen probleem, want we hebben een trailer voor je klaar staan!
