Eind 2023 werd Little Nightmares III aangekondigd en kende een beoogde releasewindow voor 2024. Helaas is bekend gemaakt dat de game dit jaar niet meer zal verschijnen.
Ontwikkelaar Supermassive Games heeft via een statement bekendgemaakt dat Little Nightmares III is uitgesteld naar 2025 en dit heeft te maken met kwalitatieve redenen. Het team heeft namelijk extra tijd nodig. Daarom is besloten om Little Nightmares III pas in 2025 uit te brengen. Het goede nieuws is dus dat het team alle tijd gaat gebruiken om de game zo goed mogelijk te maken.

For this reason, we’ve made the decision to shift the release of the game to 2025.
