Epic Games heeft vandaag een bekende ontwikkelaar overgenomen. Nadat het bedrijf eerder al de ontwikkelaar van Rocket League overnam, is het bedrijf nu ook eigenaar geworden van de studio Media Tonic, bekend van Fall Guys.
Epic Games geeft aan dat Fall Guys beschikbaar zal blijven op Steam, en dat de populaire game dit jaar gewoon zal verschijnen voor de Xbox One en Nintendo Switch.
De vraag is nu of Fall Guys, free-to-play gaat worden. Toen Rocket League werd overgenomen, werd de game binnen enkele maanden gratis en kreeg het een Battle Pass. Voorlopig zeggen Mediatonic en Epic Games geen aankondiging hierover te hebben.
